Artist Bio

I fell in love with art at a young age and told myself that I wanted to become an artist. I never imagined myself having a desk or corporate job. I want to be creative and see the world in a way of beauty and wonder. In high school I started learning and deciding on what type of artist I wanted to brand that's when I found the art of books for animated movies and started to think I wanted to be a character designer and concept artist. I've always loved seeing and reading about how animation movies are created and wanted to become one. Ever since I high school I've known I will work for an animation studio some day. My favourite movie of all time is Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas. But Lilo and Stitch is a close second if not shared for first with Nightmare Before Christmas.

Right now I'm studying at Alberta University of the Arts (AUArts), where I'm working towards a bachelors degree in character design and illustration. And in my free time/summer break I do some freelance work in painting and designing custom shoes, tumblers, and bags. On social media my freelance business is called shoe tatoo. But when I'm not arting I spend time with my family and dog Charlotte. I also like to travel and take pictures of places to paint. Create pieces of work that could be an imaginary world.
